    The Castle Rock Zip Line Tour consists of 10 lines and is already the top attraction in Castle Rock Colorado & the greater Denver region! Being only 30 minutes from Denver makes our location an easy fit to create an incredible day! The price of the 10 line zip line tour is $89.00 and the Epic Adventure tower is $49.00 either or both can be booked through the prices page. We can accommodate nearly all ages and abilities. If an amazing adventure isn't your thing we have a great solution as half the family can hit the Castle Rock Outlet Mall as the other half enjoys their adventure.

  • Age Requirements

    All participants must meet the 70lbs requirement to participate on the Zip Line Tour.
    All participants must meet the 50lbs requirement to participate on the Adventure Tower.
    There is no weight restriction for the Epic Sky Trek ropes course, anyone ages 4 and up can participate.
    Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 9 and above can participate without an accompanying adult.

  • Weight Range Requirements

    Weight range / requirement for either the Zip Line tour or Adventure Tower are 70 to 250 pounds.

  • Other Requirements & Considerations

    Each participant must be physically able to control the speed of their travel along the zip lines by tensioning the zip line cable with gloved hand. (All zip line skills will be taught prior to your actual tour.)
    Each participant must be able pull themselves along the zip cable a few feet in the event they lose momentum before reaching any given landing platform. (All zip line skills will be taught prior to your actual tour.)

  • Footwear Requirements

    Your foot-wear / shoes must cover your toes (i.e. no sandals). Please make sure you have stable hiking shoes with solid tread as the trails can be slippery.

  • Health Considerations

    The zip line tour is designed for use by participants of average physical condition and who are in reasonably good health. There a few moderate hikes along the tour on remote trails of varied incline. Each participant must be able to complete the hikes. The trails are approximately as challenging as walking four flights of stairs.

  • Are reservations required?

    Reservations are always recommended. If you do not have a reservation, we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability. Groups are limited to 8 people per tour to give you the best experience. Tours depart every half hour from 9:00 to 4:30.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    All reservations are under the terms of a strict no refund policy once the booking has processed and the payment has been authorized.
    Reschedule requests within 24 hours cannot be made, will be charged full price, and will not be refunded. We do not allow cancellations.
    All zipline tours have the option of the Worry-Free Cancellation Insurance. The $10 add-on ensures that guests can cancel their reservation up to 2 hours before the start of their tour time for a full refund. This fee is non-refundable.

  • What if we miss our reservation time?

    Guests are required to arrive 30 minutes early to complete waivers in person. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals. If you fail to meet your departure time, we still incur all of the same expense and may have turned others away from our tours to accommodate your group. Given the circumstances we will not refund no-shows the day of the trip. If we can accommodate you on a later trip we will do our best but there is no guarantee.

  • What if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?

    There are no refunds for cancellations. If your trip is cancelled or held down due to bad weather we will resume the trip within an hour. If a trip is unable to resume we will rebook your trip to a time later the same day or we will allow for a rain check that is valid up to one year from the date of your trip.

  • Do you zip line in the snow?

    Yes! The winter is an amazing time to zip line as the scenery and cool to cold weather is a great match for zip lining.

  • Drugs & Alcohol

    No one under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs, will be allowed to participate in the tour. Castle Rock Zip Line Tours reserves the right to exclude anyone from participation for medical, safety, or other reasons we deem to not be conducive to a zip line tour.

  • Liability & Release Waivers

    Every participant is required to sign a Liability & Release Waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent.

  • How long is the Zip Line Tour?

    Tour times average 2.5 to 3 hours (with the potential of running shorter or longer depending upon group size and the groups abilities).

  • What type of gear do I wear on the tour?

    You will wear a seat harness and chest harness, a trolley system, 2 lanyards with redundant secure clips, leather gloves, and a zip line specific helmet. The equipment is similar to climbing equipment, but is specifically designed for Castle Rock Zip Line Tours.

  • Are there physical limitations?

    Participants should be able to hike up to 1.5 miles on moderate inclines. Each participant must be physically able to control the speed of their travel along the zip lines by tensioning the zip line cable with gloved hand. (All zip line skills will be taught prior to your actual tour.)

  • What if I have never been before?

    Most participants have never been on a zip line course before. You will have a complete orientation and training session before prior to the actual tour. The orientation will include a short zip just a few feet off the ground, this way you will be comfortable with what is expected of you before you get out onto the actual course.

  • Is zip lining safe?

    All activities posses certain inherent risks. We have taken numerous steps to mitigate the risks involved but we could never take all of the risk out of zip lining. Our course is built by Bonsai Designs, Inc. and meets or exceeds the industry guidelines set by the ACCT - Association for Challenge Course Technology. Our guides all complete a intensive training and certification program. You will be required to complete our "ground school" setting where you learn the basics of zip lining prior to your tour.

  • What if I have a fear of heights?

    Many people with a fear of heights easily enjoy our zip line tour. Most participants with a fear of heights really appreciate the activity of zip lining. We have had only one or two people to date with a fear of heights walk off our tour.

  • Can I zip if I have a medical condition?

    Pregnant women, people with severe leg or back problems, broken limbs, or other serious illnesses will not be able to participate in the tour.

  • What should I wear?

    Shoes that cover your toes (no sandals). Wear comfortable clothing, avoid loose clothing. Hair will need restrained. Women should not wear skirts. Short shorts are not recommended, they are not comfortable with a harness. Dress for the weather. We operate rain or snow, so be prepared. (Ponchos, are not a good fit at all for zip lining.)

  • What about rain or snow?

    We conduct our tours rain, snow or shine. However, the course will be closed if there is lightning in the vicinity. We will also close the course for extreme winds. Advance notice may not be possible. If we know in advance that we will be closed we will try to notify you as soon as we can. If your tour is cancelled due to weather, you may rebook without a fee for another tour. Rain checks are offered at time of weather cancellation. Dress appropriately. Rain jackets and pants are great! Ponchos, are not a good fit at all for zip lining. We recommend that you leave valuables at home or locked in your car. Castle Rock Zip Line Tours is not responsible for property lost, damaged, or stolen during your tour.

  • Where do we check in?

    You will check-in at the Epic Adventure Tower at the bottom of the 200-step incline, within Philip S. Miller Park. There is an accessible parking lot by the outdoor soccer fields where participants can park right in front of the tower.

  • Can I bring my camera phone or my diamond ring?

    We recommend that you leave valuables at home or locked in your car. Castle Rock Zip Line Tours is not responsible for property lost, damaged, or stolen during your tour.

  • What times do trips depart?

    Tours depart every half hour from 9:00 to 4:30. Depending on the time of year hours may be extended for later trip departures. (Winter tours may have less frequent departures).

  • How do I make a reservation? What is the price of the trip?

  • How many lines are in the zip line tour?

    Our Zip Line Tour consists of 10 lines that cover over 1.5 miles. This averages as one of the longest courses in the State.

  • What is the Dual Race Line?

    The Dual Race Line is a race to the final platform at the end of the tour where you will get to challenge your friends or family to an exciting fast paced race!

  • Do you offer local discounts?

    Yes, Castle Rock residents with proof of residence will receive significant discounts.

  • How late are you open?

    Our last departure in the Summer is typically 6:00 pm and Winter tours depart as late as 3:00 pm - We are open year round.

  • Can I use my Go Pro?

    Yes you may. Some of our helmets already have Go Pro attachments but you may bring your own to be certain.
